Default Face Factory Package!

Well here it goes: There are quite a few facial options to choose from but i think they've all just begun to be a little... over used...boring perhaps? Or maybe even arguably only a few good ones that reappear constantly.

Bottom line, how about a promotional package, >$10, (yah free would work too but that won't happen) which adds an addition of facial options to choose from when making a new character? I mean like a looooooooooooooooooooot more face layouts, haircuts, eyes, etc to anyone that bought this package

(If i remember correctly there was something like this for the sims too =])

I like it, it would be very nice to have, especially considering some classess in certain campaigns (yes i'm looking at you Factions!) have such a limited pool of faces and or hairstyles.

not to mention it would be another piece of merch for anet to fill out the ingame store with.

course if i got this I'd have to reroll half my characters to take advantage of it

BUT

Make it so you take a base face. You choose shape of eyes from like 8 options. Same for mouth ears nose. You can choose makeup or not (few options here on like how much how little.) Like 50+hair styles+everything from 1 solid color to rainbow on hair. That way people can choose what they like and it would be next to impossible to see 2 things the same unless 2 guys went. I choose option 4 for eyes option 2 for nose ect ect. OOO and a fader on how dark/light skinned you are.

I gotta agree with this idea more, go with this and its /signed for me.
Although I have a feeling that anet will just put this for gw2 if anything.

/signed, i'm finding it hard to create characters i like the look of now. Or even if this can't be done, pool the existing character faces/skintones/hairstyles into one character creation screen so we can at least have some extra level of customization.

If this is a makeover "package", maybe it can be worked to include a dozen or so acount customized coupons that you could redeem at some NPC. This could give one of your existing characters the option to update their apearance with a new haircut or even a new face.
but either way /signed. Any update to the current character creation selections is a plus.

Almost useless for me, since I already have a character of each profession and I'm never deleting them, excepting some PvP characters and my perma-Pre character.

If if you add to the pack the ability to change current characters faces at least once, I'm in.

I like the customized ticket idea, some npc somewhere would take them and let you revamp your character however you choose. Hmm the tickets could work like bonus items, you could type /coupon or w/e once per character and get your ticket.

I shouldn't have to pay for something that should be given to me.

only, when anet implements before it finally a Hair Stylist NPC and some kind of Plastic Chirugy *g* so that player become able to change their faces and hair styles of their characters against a small gold fee to prevent, that millions of characters need to be rerolled (so to be deleted and recreated) , what was from the beginn on one of Anet's biggest fails of all imo, to force players to delete their characters, just to have a chance to change hair styles and faces after some time, when you start getting bored of your choice or start finding your choice total ugly, especially when you see then, that some new much nicer looking hair styles and faces get implemented to the game over time ...

also I sign this only, when Anet also gets finally rid on GW1 about this stupid face/hair style limitation of the campaigns ...

When i as player own all campaigns and create a new character, than god damn it - then I want to have free choice of all existing hair styles and all existing faces in the character creator AND NOT ONLY THE STUPID ONES, WHICH COUNT ONLY TO THE CAMPAIGN, MY UPCOMING CHARACTER SHOULD START IN.

So, when i create a new character and own all campaigns, then i want to see all hair styles and all faces of all my campaigns, so that I'm able to create a tyrian Character, that has maybe a Elonian Hair Style and a Canthan Face Style whatever...

GIVE US FINALLY FREE CHOICE IN CREATION !!!

when these problems are finally solved, then, and only THEN

The millions would laugh at you, and call you Anet, just like they laugh and call eBay gold buyers names..

/Signed for the idea

Not signed for the price though. I'd pay $10 for it if it were coupled with new mission content (as long as it were from a retail store since that's my only option). But to charge people the option of having new faces is way, way to close to a subscription for me.

Why make it an addon?
How about a nice content release, add a [Stylist] NPC to the port cities that you can pay a small fee of gold to change your hair, get a make over, change all the basic bits of your character's appearance.

I'd love to cut my Ranger's hair since it clips through pretty much EVERYTHING!

You don't even need an NPC hair stylist. If they just created a spray bottle offhand and scissors equip-able item, then Norgu & Sousuke would be perfect.
